FAQ

Account Setup / Ordering

Q: How do I place an order?

A: You must register for an account with us, attaching a clear copy of a valid SGC. When your account is approved by a member of staff, you can place your order.

Q: Do I need a Shotgun Certificate to order?

A: Yes. Orders can only be placed through accounts with a valid shotgun certificate attached, accounts will stop working as soon as the SGC expiry date is exceeded.

Q: Can I make payment online?

A: You can enter payment details online, but no money is taken until you have spoken to a member of staff and they have authorised the payment?

Q: Can I pay by bank transfer?

A: Typically, we do not accept bank transfer for smaller orders, but for very large bulk orders we can activate a ‘Pay by BACS’ option in your account, this will be visible at checkout.

Q: Can I order an out of stock item?

A: Yes, we can take backorders. During the game season especially, stock rotation is very fast, we will be ordering from most major manufacturers once a week, sometimes twice. If an item goes out of stock with the manufacturer, we will notify you if you order this item and try and advise as to when we may have it. We will try and advise similar alternatives if you need something urgently.

Q: I’ve seen an item you don’t advertise; can you get it?

A: If you’ve seen a product that we don’t sell, but we stock other products from that manufacturer, we can likely get this for you. Orders would need to be in full slab quantities and paid in advance, but we will do our best to help where possible.

Delivery & Returns

Q: Can I choose a delivery day?

A: Yes. We always arrange a delivery day and success rates for on time delivery are above 95%.

Q: When will my delivery be dispatched?

A: This depends on where it’s being shipped and the chosen delivery method. If using our own delivery routes, many orders are dispatched two days prior to delivery, some are one day before if serviced directly from our Oxfordshire depot. Most third-party courier deliveries are dispatched the working day before the agreed delivery date. Sometimes earlier if it’s an area we know they can take a while to reach, or somewhere where they only go once a week for example.

Q: How long does delivery take?

A: This depends on when you order and when the pre-arranged delivery will be. The third-party courier offers next day to most areas, albeit it’s not a guarantee and harder to reach areas can take longer.

Q: Do you charge for delivery?

A: Yes. Prices vary depending on location and chosen delivery option.

Just Cartridges Delivery – Our own delivery service offering live tracking.

Base rate starts at £17.50 covering up to 1000 cartridges.

We charge pro rata per additional slab after this point, a cost of £4.37 per slab.

A 25p per KG surcharge is applied beyond 40kg.

Some areas are more expensive to ship to with rates as follows:

– £20 base rate (up to 1000) / £5 per additional slab / 25p per KG beyond 40kg

– £25 base rate (up to 1000) / £5 per additional slab / 25p per KG beyond 40kg

Free Delivery is applied to orders of 10,000 or more which are using JC Delivery.

Third Party Courier – We have a minimum delivery charge from £32.50* which gets you up to 1000 cartridges. After this point we charge pro rata, a cost of £5 per slab, with additional carriage charges for heavier items of 50p per KG beyond 40kg. When cartridge orders get to pallet quantities, typically around 3-4 thousand cartridges, we try and discount the carriage where possible offering flat rate pallet options.

*Carriage rates do vary, our third-party courier has several price brackets around the UK, meaning the initial base fee increases to £55 and £75 depending on location. They do have an even higher base rate but we find sending a pallet is often more economical at that point.

Pallets

At certain quantities*, typically around 3-4 thousand it becomes more economical to use a pallet delivery. We offer flat rates for pallets beyond this point, regardless of quantity ordered. The rate for a pallet varies depending on delivery area.

For orders of 10,000 or more, we charge £25 in all standard rate shipping areas**, if choosing to use a pallet company rather than our own JC delivery option. For pallets going to high-rate areas that cost will increase.

*Quantities required for a pallet delivery change depending on location.

**In high-rate areas this is not always possible, but we will try and subsidise the carriage where we can.

Q: Do you have a minimum order size?

A: No. You can order as many or as few as you want, there is a minimum delivery charge.

Q: Can I order online and collect in store?

A: Yes. Just choose the ‘Click and Collect’ option and we will put the items aside for you.

Q: Can I return cartridges bought from Just Cartridges?

A: If you would like to make a return you must notify us within 14 days starting from the day after you received the goods. You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back to us. You will be entitled to a full refund on the price of the goods provided they are undamaged and in their original packaging. The company will only accept returns on production of proof of purchase, which shall normally mean the original invoice. We only accept return of full slabs apart from for orders of smaller amounts.

The cost of delivery will not be refunded and any costs incurred in getting the goods returned will be covered by the customer, unless an incorrect item has been sent out.

Q: What is the cost of returning goods?

A: It is extremely expensive to arrange for cartridges to be returned. Unless on a delivery route running from our Oxford or Tamworth depot (where we can help collect with our own drivers), we must use a Third-Party Courier whose collection prices can be high. We therefore charge a minimum collection fee of £45 but in delivery areas where the cost is higher you will be asked to cover the entire cost of collection. This cost is to be paid by the customer, unless the return is due to an error from Just Cartridges*.

*This does not include where cartridges are delivered late, it is for circumstances where the wrong product has been sent.

Q: How do I return a Just Cartridges order?

A: Call us to arrange a return on 01865 300066, we will discuss a time with you and try and arrange a collection to suit.

Pricing

Q: How does your pricing structure work?

A: We offer improved rates for bulk orders if you have a trade account. We have price breaks at 250, 500 and 1000 cartridges.

Q: Can I mix and match and still get the 1000 rate?

A: Yes, so long as you keep your order in full slabs you will receive the 1000 rate, so you could have 84different items of 250 and they would all be charged at the best rate. This does not apply to individual boxes.

Q: Do you offer discount on Bulk Orders?

A: Our 1000 rate is our best rate for most orders. We offer free delivery from 10,000 cartridges.
