I use these exclusively for goose shooting and find them extremely effective. Despite what people say the birds are not destroyed. One shot is enough and you have access to much more range. After 30+ years of shooting geese and seeing birds take 5 hits from #3 shot, these are far more effective. I am using a benelli auto which manages the recoil very well.
