There’s sadly little choice of 16 bore clay cartridges, but these PRO SIXTEENs make up for the shortfall. They give very little recoil, are always reliable, and seem to pattern well. My personal opinion is that the 16 bore, usually being lighter than the 12, would be a better option for ladies and beginners than the 20, plus, unlike the 20 you have very little disadvantage with shot patterning width.
